Our Services

2B Building Group incorporated in 2017. The Group has its origins in the meeting of two builders, Cambell Ryan and Jason Freddi, in 2011. They both understood that the demands upon the contemporary builder had become so great that the days of the lone master builder were over. Furthermore, the demand for flexibility from many clients required an approach and organisation that spoke against a corporate employee based model and in favour of an alliance of like-minded trades and professionals.

The key to making this possible was crossing the divide between professional and trade which is where much of the conflict, unnessesary cost and time wasting originates. In the partnership between Cambell and Jason we had found the formula to cross the trade and professional divide.

Best practice demands that the builder be across all details of the project, practical and administrative. More than that, we have come to see the building work as not just a contract but as a real-estate asset, a lifestyle choice and a long-term opportunity to build lasting relationships. By this means, we can truly provide a complete service to our clients.

Over time, the 2B partnership grew into an alliance with other like minded trades and professionals who understand that working together and building relationships of trust based on performance is the most efficient means to success. With much of the administration centralised, each partner can draw confidently on the knowledge of others within the group who have proven their competency and reliability. By 2017 Cambell and Jason had pulled together this group of specialists and created the 2B brand and building group.

And so we offer as part of the Design & Build service: Existing Conditions Report, Asset Improvement Valuation, Buildability Analysis, Architectural Concepts & Design Options and Building Maintenance Plan, so that you can truly make an informed decision about your investments.

Our Team

Jason is a Bachelor of Property & Construction from University of Melbourne with qualifications in quantity surveying and project management. A registered building practitioner for twenty years, Jason began in residential property development and has since then worked in most areas of the industry including site supervision, contracts & estimating, facilities management and a period heading up the construction division of tier-1 industry contractor TTI Stone.

Cambell is a hands on construction manager with extensive networks of trades and builders on both sides of the Yarra, working as a finishes & detail supervisor with many of Melbourne’s finest architects.

Danielle is the 2B Administration & Accounts Manager. With over 20 years experience in Real Estate & Property she undertakes property market reporting for 2B Building Group to ensure we can complete comprehensive feasibility analysis for our development clients.
